Thermosiphon derived from the Greek consisting of two syllables that therme means heat and siphon means motion or move. So thermosiphon is fluid motion that is caused by differences in fluid density . The equation used to find the speed of the fluid passing through the collector is :

mr = ρin x Ain x Vin

where, ρin the density of the air outside the collector (kg/m³), Ain cross-section of the intake air collector (m²) dan Vin velocity air collector (m/s). maka :

Vout  = mr / ρav x Af-c

where, ρav average density of air in the collector (kg/m³) dan Af-c collector sectional area through which the air (m²).
